CALIFORNIA SWAN FESTIVAL

Please note:

This year’s Swan Festival will look a little different – we will not be hosting a central hub or in-person presenters. Instead we are focusing on immersive guided tours and experiences across the Yuba-Sutter region.

Rather than managing a hub, our staff and board will be out in the field, attending all tours to support our guides and partners, and to connect directly with community members.

We value the connections and learning opportunities the hub and presenters have provided in past years, and we may explore bringing them back in future festivals. Thank you for embracing this year’s new format and joining us out in the field to celebrate nature and conservation.

Why Your Support Matters
The California Swan Festival is more than a celebration of nature—it’s a vital fundraiser that supports the mission and ongoing work of the Sutter Buttes Regional Land Trust. Proceeds from the event help fund our core programs, including:

Land Conservation – protecting critical open space, farmland, and wildlife habitat in the Sutter Buttes region and beyond.
Stewardship – ensuring long-term care and management of the lands we’ve protected.
Community Outreach & Education – offering inclusive, place-based experiences that connect people to the land.
Organizational Operations – sustaining the dedicated staff, tools, and infrastructure we need to do this work effectively.
