Attendee Cancellations and Refunds

All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted directly to the Sutter Buttes Regional Land Trust (SBRLT) by email at info@sutterbutteslandtrust.org or by phone at (530) 755-3568. Online cancellations and refunds are not available.

Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. SBRLT recognizes that unexpected circumstances, such as illness or emergencies, may prevent attendees from participating and will consider these situations when reviewing refund requests. However, refunds will not be issued if an attendee no longer wishes to participate due to weather conditions, including rain, if the scheduled activity is still taking place.

Event Cancellations and Inclement Weather

Some Swan Festival tours and activities take place outdoors and are subject to weather conditions. Tours may be cancelled at the tour guide’s discretion if severe inclement weather is forecasted or conditions are deemed unsafe. Rain does not automatically result in cancellation; however, certain tours may be cancelled due to rain or other adverse weather conditions, depending on the activity and conditions.

If SBRLT cancels a tour or activity, registered attendees will be notified by email and offered the following options:

• Substitute Activity: Register for an alternative festival activity of equal value, subject to availability.
• Donation: Donate the registration fee to support SBRLT’s conservation programs.
• Refund: Receive a full refund, minus applicable processing fees. Please allow up to four weeks for refund processing.

SBRLT will communicate any event cancellations as promptly as possible using the email address provided during registration.
